YMCA of Greater Seattle Youth Soccer League Official (outside Seattle) in Shoreline, Washington

For this position, the selected candidate will officiate at soccer games according to league rules and YMCA guidelines. The ideal candidate should be knowledgable of soccer and enthusiastic about being involved with youth. A background in soccer is preferred (player, coach, referee, etc.).
Officiates at games.
Sets up equipment (goals, boundaries, soccer balls, etc.) before games.
Puts all equipment away after games.
Reports equipment problems.
Keeps a safe and fun environment for participants.
Current state approved first aid certification preferred.*
Current state approved CPR certification preferred.*
Up-to-date knowledge of YMCA guidelines designated for the league.
Experience in refereeing preferred.
Knowledge of safety issues related to sport and facility.
Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
Prefer knowledge of, and pervious experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
