YMCA of Greater Seattle Sports/Recreation Site Supervisor in Seattle, Washington

Supervises sports and recreation activities at assigned site(s). Responds to various situations in order to ensure safety for participants and spectators.
Supervises activities at site(s) and surrounding areas to ensure safety and welfare of users.
Reports and monitors all mechanical and equipment problems.
Sets up equipment in rooms, and returns equipment to storage. Ensures cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
Enforces all rules, regulations and policies. Maintains proper documentation. Reports incidents and accidents.
Assists other staff. Answers inquiries from participants, and provides information.
Attends staff meetings and approved trainings as required.
Current state approved first aid certification*.
Current state approved CPR certification*.
Age eighteen years or more.
One year or more of related experience preferred.
Ability to move, set up and store equipment.
Ability to tactfully enforce all rules and regulations.
Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
