YMCA of Greater Seattle Recruiting Coordinator in Seattle, Washington


The Recruiting Coordinator role is a critical operational function on the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team. We are looking for someone who is customer-centric, proactive, detail-oriented with superb communications skills. The successful candidate will support the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Team, Hiring Managers, Candidates and New Hires to coordinate the full cycle of recruiting. Most importantly, the Recruiting Coordinator will deliver results in support of the YMCA of Greater Seattle mission and operates by the Y core values: respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.


  • Support Talent Acquisition team on managing all required processes needed from attracting candidates to bring the selected candidate onboard. This includes but not limited to:

  • Post jobs.

  • Manage job boards accounts (Indeed, LinkedIn, Community Colleges, Community partners, etc.).

  • Organize/assist and attend Job fairs/hiring events.

  • Tracking and communicating status of candidates in the workflow (interview, offer, onboarding etc.) using ICIMS.

  • Being point of contact of the Talent Acquisition team in and outside of the Organization.

  • Updating and storage HR-Recruiting documentation (job templates, interview guidelines, process, etc.).

  • As ICIMS super user, being able to assist Talent Acquisition team, Candidates, Hiring managers and other stakeholders with any request related with ICIMS (user management, reporting, referral program, etc).

  • Partnering with members of the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a positive and unique candidate experience is created and maintained.

  • Tracking recruiting activities and providing reports to Director of Talent Management, HR Manager, HR Manager or Recruiting, Recruiters, Hiring Managers and stakeholders.

  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.

  • Supporting high volume hiring.

  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.

  • Support of various HR projects as needed.


  • 1+ year(s) experience in a fast-paced role in a Human Resources department.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Proficiently manage Applicant Tracking System (ICIMS) to ensure all candidate information is thoroughly tracked, managed and maintained. ICIMS preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
