Responding to the needs of those diverse communities requires dedicated and capable employees. To that end, the Seattle Y has a temporary opening for an experienced Recruiter . This position will contribute to the success of the YMCA of Greater Seattle by recruiting diverse and qualified candidate pools for current and future organizational needs. This position is anticipated to last from March through June 2019.
Responsibilities
Under direction from the HR Director for Talent Acquisition, the responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Identify, attract, source and increase pool of candidates for current hiring needs.
Full life cycle recruiting – posting jobs in ATS and other job boards, sourcing candidates in multiple channels, performing initial candidate screenings, coordinating interviews with hiring managers/candidates/stakeholders, reference checks, and communication through the close of the job.
Use the iCIMS ATS platform as main tool for managing jobs and interacting with active and passive candidates.
Research and manage the logistics of campus career/job fair events and coordinates branch participation.
Work directly with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and key priorities; partner throughout the entire recruiting process (communicating updates, supporting salary negotiation, etc).
Qualify candidates in relation to position requirements, as well as provide candidates with detailed information on our organization, compensation package, business strategies, position details, position expectations and mission, goals, and objectives.
Actively participate in the development and implementation of strategic efforts around recruiting and talent management, resulting in a diverse and well qualified candidate pool that meets our business needs, now and for the future.
Qualifications
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; HR Certification preferred
2+ years’ experience with candidate sourcing and full life‐cycle recruiting
Experience recruiting high volume, entry level positions as well as complex professional/leadership positions.
Experience using a major ATS (iCIMS preferred)
Well versed in passive search and creative candidate sourcing
Experience utilizing Boolean search methodology
Savvy in use of social media for recruiting
Experienced and comfortable with interacting with diverse populations.
Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Where you'll work:
Our HR team works in the heart of Downtown Seattle, in a historic building that has housed the YMCA since the 1930s. Not only does our building house our Association Office (corporate headquarters), but it's also home to a membership facility (access is a staff benefit - swim a few laps before work, take a yoga class at lunch, do some laps on the track before you go home, if you like!).
