Supports the administrative and business functions fothe CCORS and OPMH/SUD program to ensure that ehe program is meeting contract and other regulatory requirements through quality assurance oversight, complex data management, data transmitting, auditing, correcting data transmissions, staff training and technology assistance. Supports the department and branch by maintaining client information in accordance with regulatory and contract requirements. Updates and generates reports to notify clinical staff when reviews and renewals are due. Responds to requiests for medical information from clinical staff, government offices and others. Assures records are maintained in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
What you’ll be doing…
Transmits, audits, corrects and validates client data in computer systems, including electronic health record database, King County Mental Health Record Management, ProviderOne, ECLS and others.
Creates and develops ClientTrack and other database queries to assist with audits and grant writing.
Participates in quality audits to validate that the documentation process flow is being adhered to for all internal and external requirements.
Assists with Medicaid billing processes for outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services.
Tracks services and documentation for clinical files. Communicates with staff and outside agencies regarding compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepares incoming and outgoing Release of Information materials in a timely manner.
Provides technical assistance, trains staff on data base upgrades and assists Branch System Specialist with data base development and other projects as assigned.
Assists with the completion of the monthly and quarterly reports for contract compliance. Identifies and documents trends demonstrated in the reports to bring forward to CPI team.
Coordinates aspects of the QA Peer File Review process and subsequent Continuous Practice Improvement (CPI) report.
You should have:
Two years or more of college in a related field or equivalent education/experience. Four years of education/experience preferred.
Three or more years of related experience including customer service, office management.
Advanced knowledge of/experience with Microsoft Office Suite
