Job Summary

Provides programmatic, technical, analytical and functional support for program operations and projects to the Youth Development Center of Excellence’s Education & Enrichment department. Supports the operations team for the department in program development, contract compliance and outcomes data management. Reviews, analyzes, and updates data to ensure that the systems are maintained with the most accurate information.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintains administrative and financial tracking systems and assists in the design and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases to support these systems. Develops reports and dashboards to display data to multiple audiences.

  2. Assists in administering grants and contract-based programs through audit functions, invoice processing and supporting external audits as indicated by the specific program.

  3. Research and stays up-to-date on compliance in assigned program areas.

  4. Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and ensure deadlines are met.

  5. Serve as liaison with other operating units.

  6. Work closely with Program Executives to review and revise policies and procedures documents. Assist with the development of policies and procedures, creating efficiencies and implementing best practices.

  7. Supports software systems as assigned.

  8. Assists with month-end and year-end closings, including monthly budget variance analysis.

  9. Assist with external agency audits.

  10. Performs various other duties as assigned to support the Youth Development Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

  1. Three or more years of progressive experience in Administrative or Program Management

  2. Experience in Youth Development Programs strongly preferred.

  3. Strong understanding of all relevant regulations and federal and state requirements.

  4. Experience and comfort with Office Suite.

  5. Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality, detailed-oriented work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

  6. Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task.

  7. Superior customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  8. Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Pay: $24.20 - $30.25/Hr.
