Job Summary

Working closely with the Senior Program Marketing Manager, the primary focus of this role is to manage the execution of marketing tactics to drive program enrollment, brand awareness, and improve overall customer journey The Marketing Coordinator provides critical task management and communication to the Experience Team as well as other key stakeholders and serves as the liaison for association wide marketing campaigns and initiatives, creative asset management, and production scheduling needs.


  1. Executes campaign plans by managing delivery of marketing tactics including digital, print, email, or other assets.

  2. Reviews campaign efficacy by tracking registrations, pageviews, engagement and other measures of success.

  3. Secures all necessary resources to move projects forward, with clearly defined scope of work, timing/schedule, budget, and materials needed for execution

  4. Maintains the schedule integrity throughout the lifecycle of a project with regular check-ins through to completion

  5. Coordinates status updates for all projects in collaboration with service teams including rescheduling projects and resetting expectations based on new or changing priorities as needed

  6. Maintains current awareness of marketing trends and ideas

  7. Updates web content and provides basic design changes to marketing collateral, as needed

  8. Provides copywriting for marketing collateral, online content and program descriptions, including SEO keyword research

  9. Other duties as assigned


  1. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, management, or related field or equivalent experience. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.

  2. Two years or more of related experience

  3. Strong project management skills

  4. Demonstrated experience working with designers, writers, web and email teams, and marketing managers in the successful execution of marketing campaigns

  5. Knowledge of timelines and resources necessary for digital, social, website, email, and print communications

  6. Familiarity with Google Analytics

  7. Three plus years of experience with Office 365 products with focus on SharePoint and Excel

  8. Soft Skills including:- Problem solving skills, negotiating and collaborating- Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects against aggressive timelines without compromising accuracy or quality- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills- Positive attitude and general spirit of teamwork

  9. Comfortable working in fluid environments

  10. Comfortable working in a PC environment


  • Experience with the YMCA or other non-profit organization preferred

  • Experience with project and workflow management software

  • Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.

Pay: $20.05‎ - $‎24.56/hour
