This position will provide critical executive administrative support to the SVP/CHRO. The successful candidate will interact and work routinely with the HR senior leadership team as well as the broader HR organization in general. This person will also be central in many HR projects and regular work, including support of benefits and compensation and other key processes.
Executive Assistant support
Provides general executive administrative support to the SVP/CHRO, including but not limited to:
Manages complex, daily scheduling and anticipating needs
Answers phone, screen calls, and relay messages to the CHRO
Coordinates meeting and travel arrangements
Expense report processing
Drives periodic or annual activities
HR file maintenance
Organization and coordination of HR team meetings or events
Invoice billing and tracking
HR Coordinator Duties
Partners with HR team members to improve internal processes, data management, etc.
Works with the Benefits and Compensation Analyst on various regular processes and analysis
Administers service awards and ORCA programs
Supports other executives as needed in a collaborative environment
EFFECT ON END RESULTS
This position assures a smoothly and efficiently run office of the president, assigned executive staff and office support services.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in C-level administrative roles in fast-paced environments
Superior organizational and prioritization skills, with a knack for process improvements, efficiency, and superior attention to detail
Prior experience in HR or supporting an HR executive and/or team strongly preferred
Ability to appropriately handle matters requiring the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism while utilizing sound judgment
Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with travel booking and expense management
Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint and Visio
Ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems proactively
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work/interact effectively with corporate and operating unit executives and senior leadership
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Occasionally able to work outside normal working hours to support activities or meet project deadlines.
