GENERAL FUNCTION

Assists the Food Service Director in all camp food services.

Responsibilities

  1. Demonstrates knowledge about food safety and follows all food and safety regulations.

  2. Prepares and serves food to guest and staff.

  3. Transports food and supplies as needed.

  4. Ensures proper rotation of food and supplies.

  5. Maintains temperature logs.

  6. Maintains high standards of cleanliness.

  7. Maintains security of kitchen.

  8. Reports the need for any equipment repair to the Food Service Director.

  9. Relates to county health officials, food suppliers, guests and staff in a positive and productive manner.

  10. May supervise food service personnel as directed during Food Service Director's absence.

  11. Attends kitchen staff meetings.

  12. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Current state approved first aid certification.

  2. Current state approved CPR certification.

  3. Current Washington Food Handlers Card.

  4. Current and Valid Drivers License in good standing.

  5. Demonstrates knowledge about food safety.

  6. Two years experience in restaurant or institutional cooking.

  7. Basic kitchen knowledge.
