Overview
Job Summary
Provides general office support to branch or department.
Responsibilities
Performs various office duties, including using a personal computer to produce documents.
Maintains assigned files. Sets up files as assigned.
Inputs data to computer system as instructed.
Assists members, callers, and others with questions about YMCA programs
May prepare mail, photocopy, answer the telephone, and/or perform various record-keeping related duties.
Attends staff meetings and training programs as required.
Qualifications
Current state approved first aid certification, as required
Current state approved CPR certification, as required
Six months or more related experience or training preferred.
Some knowledge of computers, including word processing software, helpful.
Ability to maintain alpha-numeric files helpful.
Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
